What a beautiful Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. 

I want to say thank you to all the parents who volunteered to bring in something to our Writing Celebration next week. We will have plenty of treats to share. I also want to say thank you to everyone who volunteered to be a driver on our first field trip. We have plenty of drivers for our class. If you aren’t able to come with us on the first field trip to Historic Deerfield, don’t worry, we have other field trips planned throughout the school year. It such a great feeling to be at a school were parents are so involved with their child’s education. Thank you for all of your help and support.

Reminders for conferences were sent home today. If something has come up and you are unable to attend the conference at your scheduled time, please contact me so we can reschedule. 

In math we started a chapter on addition with regrouping. Students will be learning addition through the thousands place.
