Words for Thirds

Today each of our third graders were presented with their very own dictionary. This program is called Words for Thirds and is sponsored by The Grange. Representatives from The Grange taught students how to use the dictionary and presented each student with their own dictionary to take home. Students were fascinated by all the extras in the dictionary, such as: the alphabet in sign language, the multiplication facts, and the longest word in the English language.
