In Writer's Workshop students continue working on the final draft of their first non-fiction piece of writing. We books on a variety of topics, from how to play soccer to how to make a homemade pizza. Students have been writing, revising, editing, and rewriting. When students finish up this piece we will begin writing a shorter, curriculum based piece of non-fiction writing. This piece of writing will based on what we are studying in Social Studies.
In math students continued learning about the properties of multiplication. Today we focused on the distributive property of multiplication. Students completed a distributive property puzzle match.
