It was a hot and muggy day at the football field at Frontier Regional High School, but we didn't let that stop us from having a great time at Junior Olympics! We started the day off with track events. Students could participate in the 100 yard dash, the 200 meter race, or the 400 meter race. We have some fast students in our school! It was great to see all the students participate in the races and to see them cheering on their friends and teammates! After the races, third graders went out to the Olympic Village to rotate with their teams through 4 different games. There was Capture the Flag, Noodle Hockey, Ostrich Egg Race, and Tail Tag. It looked like all the students were having a great time! The games looked like lots of fun! After a lunch break, the third graders participated in the field events. Then it was time for the relay races. I am so proud of all our students.
It was a fun day!
The class shows off the ribbons they earned at Junior Olympics! :)
Have a great night!
