Welcome back! I hope everyone enjoyed their extended February break. There was plenty of snow on the ground, hopefully you were able to get outside and play in it! At my house we had fun building snow forts and tunnels, going sledding, and snowboarding. It was great to be back in 3f and get back to the business of teaching and learning!
In Writer's Workshop students are working on their biographies of a famous American. I love how excited they are about this project. Not only are the learning how to become better writers they are also learning about the history of our country. Our class will be having our Writer's Celebration for our informational unit of writing on Friday, March 7th at 8:45. I hope you can join us as we celebrate our students, writing.
In math we learned how to multiply a two digit number by a single digit number. We learned several different ways to solve these types of problems. You can use the distributive property, repeated addition, or you can stack it.
