Today was our first day of the MCAS mathematics test and the students worked hard! I am very proud of how hard all the students worked during testing time. In the afternoon the students had some free time to read, draw, or play a game of Scrabble.

And the Winner is......
Yesterday we found out who the winner was for the Emergency Escape Plan Contest sponsored by the Sunderland Fire Department. The winner from our classroom was Bianca! Bianca won a gift certificate for Frontier Pizza for the emergency escape plan that she drew. Not only did Bianca Winamp great prize she now knows the safest way out of her house in case of an emergency. Great job Bianca!
