Today was a magnificent Monday in 3f! Today in Writer's Workshop we worked in our groups to start recording our videoes. Students broke into groups to record the introduction of their speech. The students were so excited to start making their videoes. I can't wait to see the finished products!
Today we met with our kindergarten buddies from Ms. Antes' class. We worked on mapping skills to get ready for our joint field trip to Mount Sugarloaf. We read the book Me on the Map, used Google Maps to map our trip from Sunderland Elementary School to Mount Sugarloaf, and then we we drew our very own map with our buddy. The maps the students drew were incredible.
In math students continued working on elapsed time. Students worked with partners to solve word problems involving elapsed time.
