Do you know EDITH?

Do you know EDITH? Our class does. Our kiddos learned that EDITH stands for Exit Drills in the Home. Our class recently had a fire safety lesson about the importance of having an exit plan from your home in the event of an emergency. They also learned that is important to have a meeting place outside your home that everyone in your family knows about. After the lesson the students drew their own exit plans for their house. I hope the students shared the exit plans they created in school with you. Being prepared for an emergency is important.
