In writing, we continue to work on becoming
better storytellers by using our storyteller’s voice. Today we learned that
storyteller’s show not tell what happens in the story. Writer’s do this by
using dialogue, describing what is happening around them, and using sensory
words. In math we continued our chapter on place value by reviewing rounding to
the nearest ten and the nearest hundred. Today was also
the first day of reading groups and string lessons. It was a busy day!
