I hope everyone enjoyed the three day weekend! I hope you got
a chance to go outside and enjoy the beautiful New England fall and have some
fun as a family. Fall is my favorite time of the year!
Students are almost finished with the first unit in the Lucy
Calkins’ writing curriculum. They have
been working hard and they are almost ready to share a finished piece of writing
with everyone. Our class will be having a writing celebration on October 31st.
I hope that you will be able to come in and hear the small moment stories that students
have been working on. (More information was sent home today in your child’s take
home folder.)
Help wanted! Please check your child’s take home folder for
information on our first upcoming field trip. Our class is need of drivers for
this field trip to Historic Deerfield.
If you are able to be a driver/chaperone please let me know as soon as
possible.
Remember to fill someone’s bucket today!
