Friday!

It was a great day in our classroom! (Unfortunately I forgot my camera at home.) We started our morning with singing. Mrs. Zadworny invited our class next door for Singing with Sarah. We learned the Massachusetts state folk song, "Massachusetts" By Arlo Gutherie. After singing, it was off to our first Spanish class. At Spanish the students dove right in and starting learn basic conversational greetings.

Today in math the students had an assessment on addition and subtraction with regrouping.( The class did wonderful on the assessment. I am so proud of all the students!) After students were finished with the assessment they had time to read quietly until it was time to pack up and go home.  A few students chose to read a book quietly on their own. Most of the students chose to share the Guinness Book of World Records.  I love the pictures of the students all sharing one book and having a great time being engaged with a book and each other! They truly are a great group of students! (thanks Ms. Pease for taking the pictures for me!)
