Exciting news! Our class has earned their first "bucket" party. Since the first day of school the class has been earning drops in the bucket for great behavior. Students have earned drops for great listening, acts of kindness, and great behavior. The students have finally filled the green bucket with all the drops, so now the students will be rewarded with a celebration. Please be on the lookout in your child's take home folder for information about this celebration.

We have been learning about non-fiction text features and how they help the reader. Today students worked with a partner and went on a text feature scavenger hunt.
More exciting news! Today in math we had a special guest teacher, Mr. B joined us and taught a lesson on rounding to the nearest ten. All the students enjoyed having Mr. B for a teacher in math today. Mr. B did a great job teaching and is welcome in our classroom anytime.
